Im 16 and fluent in the Japanese language, in reading writing and speaking. (4+years of private lessons). I think working in a Japanese restaurant would be perfect for me as a part time job.

Okay so in Japanese lesson 3 there are these sentences 1. この建物は青くありません。 ( Kono tatemono wa aoku arimasen ) how and why does aoi (color blue) become aoku here ? Also why cant it be “ja arimasen” instead of “arimasen”.?
